This Privacy Policy describes how Tradervana ("Tradervana," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and trading journal application (the "Service").
Account information: your email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Trade data: trades, tags, notes, and related records you enter manually, import via CSV, or sync from a connected brokerage account.
Broker credentials: if you connect a brokerage account, we store the credentials or access tokens needed to retrieve your trade history, encrypted at rest.
Billing information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain a Stripe customer/subscription identifier to manage your subscription.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service (storing and displaying your trades, computing statistics, syncing with connected brokers), to process subscription payments, to send account-related emails (such as password reset and setup links), and to maintain the security of the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of broker credentials at rest, hashed password storage, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic to the Service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account and trade data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account or your data, contact us at the email below.
You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
