TradervanaTradervana

The trading journal built for Apex Trader Funding traders

Apex's dashboard shows one account at a time. Tradervana shows the rest: how close every evaluation and Performance Account is to its trailing threshold right now, whether your best day is about to block your next payout, and what Apex has actually cost you compared with what it's paid you.

The journal is free to start and stays free. Pro adds Tradovate auto-sync and the live safety net.

How it works

  1. 1

Get your trades in. On Pro, connect the Tradovate login Apex gave you (choose the Demo environment) and your history backfills automatically. New trades then sync as you trade. On Rithmic accounts, or on the free plan, import a CSV. Rithmic R-Trader exports are detected automatically. Other platforms: CSV import with column mapping. How to sync Tradovate → · How to import a CSV →

  2. 2

Attach Apex's rules. Save your account's profit target, trailing threshold, daily loss limit, contract cap and consistency percentage as a rule set, then attach it to each evaluation and PA. Not sure of the numbers? Apex Trader Funding rules, explained →

  3. 3

Trade with the numbers in front of you. Your dashboard shows room to every limit on every account, plus warnings before you get into trouble.

Built around how Apex accounts actually fail

Room to the trailing threshold

Apex sells EOD and Intraday trail accounts. On EOD, the threshold moves once a day on your closing balance. On Intraday, it follows your peak balance, including open profit. Either way, touching it ends the account. Tradervana shows your distance-to-breach and drawdown room on each account, updated as trades come in. It's an estimate built from closed trades, so on an Intraday account, a trade that spiked and came back may have lifted your real threshold higher than Tradervana shows. On a PA it also applies the point where Apex stops the threshold rising (your starting balance plus $100) once that's saved in your rule set, which the Apex PA rule sets in our catalog include. Near the limit, Apex's dashboard is still the final word.

Daily loss limit room

EOD evaluations carry a fixed daily loss limit. On a PA, the daily loss limit and the contract cap both scale with your balance tier. Your rule set holds one value for each, so update it as your tier changes. Tradervana tracks your room to the limit in your rule set and raises a tilt warning when you slide toward it.

Consistency before your next payout

On a PA, your largest profitable day has to stay under a set share of your net profit, or the payout button stays hidden. That share is 50% on accounts bought since March 1, 2026, and 30% on legacy accounts. Tradervana compares your best day with your net profit across the account's funded phase against the percentage in your rule set, warns you as you approach it, and shows how much more profit you need behind your best day. It doesn't restart after a logged payout, while Apex measures from your last approved payout, so treat it as a guide and check Apex before you request.

Every evaluation and PA, side by side

Apex traders often run several accounts at once. One Tradovate login covers every account it can see. Each one becomes its own account in Tradervana with its own rule set, and passes and breaches are marked automatically. See them all on one screen, or filter down to one.

Your real Apex net, not just your payouts

A payout isn't profit until you subtract everything it cost to get there. Log evaluation fees, resets and activation fees against each account, log every payout as it lands, and Tradervana shows spent vs. taken home vs. net, with a breakdown by account. How the payout tracker works →

Tilt and inactivity alerts

A losing streak inside a session, or a slide toward your daily loss limit, triggers a tilt warning on your dashboard. Inactivity alerts (a banner plus an opt-in email) watch the idle-day rules you save in your rule set, so you get a warning while there's still time to place a trade.

And more

The pass plan simulator maps your path to the target or the next payout. There's also a monthly AI debrief, and the same account works on the web and in the iOS and Android apps.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tradervana sync with Apex Trader Funding?

Yes, for Apex accounts on Tradovate, on Pro. Connect the Tradovate login Apex gave you, choose the Demo environment, and every account on that login backfills and syncs automatically. Access is read-only. For Rithmic accounts, import a CSV instead. Rithmic R-Trader exports are detected automatically. Other platforms: CSV import with column mapping.

Does it handle EOD and Intraday trail accounts?

Yes. You save the drawdown type and threshold in each account's rule set. On a PA, Tradervana also stops the threshold rising at your starting balance plus $100, the point Apex locks it, when that's saved in your rule set. Tradervana estimates your room from closed trades, so on Intraday accounts, where open profit can lift the threshold, treat Apex's own dashboard as the final word near the limit.

Can I track the 30% and 50% consistency rules?

Yes. Set the percentage that applies to your account (50% on PAs bought since March 1, 2026, 30% on legacy accounts) and Tradervana tracks your best day as a share of net profit against it.

Can I see all my Apex accounts and other prop firms in one place?

Yes. Every evaluation and PA gets its own rule set, and accounts from Topstep, Lucid and other firms sit on the same dashboard.

Is the journal really free?

Yes. The free plan doesn't expire and doesn't need a card. Pro is optional and adds auto-sync and live rule tracking.
