The trading journal built for Lucid Trading traders

Lucid's dashboard shows where one account stands. Tradervana shows the rest: how close every LucidFlex, LucidPro, LucidDaily and LucidDirect account is to its max loss limit right now, whether your best day is about to break the evaluation's consistency rule, and what Lucid has actually cost you compared with what it's paid you.

The journal is free to start and stays free. Pro adds Tradovate auto-sync and the live safety net.

How it works

  1. 1

Get your trades in. Lucid accounts on Tradovate, NinjaTrader or TradingView run on CQG. On Pro, connect the Tradovate login Lucid gave you (choose the Demo environment) and your history backfills, then new trades sync as you trade. On Rithmic accounts, or on the free plan, import a CSV. Rithmic R-Trader exports are detected automatically. How to sync Tradovate → · How to import a CSV →

  2. 2

Attach your Lucid product's rules. Save the profit target, max loss limit, daily loss limit (if your account has one), contract cap, consistency percentage and payout buffer as a rule set, then attach it to each account. Not sure of the numbers for your product? Lucid Trading rules, explained →

  3. 3

Trade with the numbers in front of you. Your dashboard shows room to every limit on every account, plus warnings before you get into trouble.

Built around how Lucid accounts actually fail

Room to the max loss limit

LucidFlex uses an end-of-day drawdown: the max loss limit rises with your highest closing balance. The trailing happens at the close, but the breach doesn't wait: if your balance touches the limit during the session, the account is done. Tradervana shows your distance-to-breach and drawdown room on each account, updated as trades come in. It's an estimate built from closed trades. On LucidFlex it stops the limit rising at your starting balance plus $100, the point Lucid locks it, when that's saved in your rule set (our LucidFlex rule sets include it). Lucid also locks the floor when you request a payout, so a logged payout request freezes it in Tradervana too. Keep Lucid's dashboard as the final word near the limit.

Daily loss limit, if your account has one

On LucidFlex you choose at purchase whether your account has a daily loss limit. If it does, it applies in both the evaluation and the funded account. It's a soft breach that locks you out until the next session. Save it in your rule set and Tradervana shows your remaining room for the day, with a tilt warning as you slide toward it.

Consistency, on the accounts that have it

The LucidFlex evaluation has a 50% consistency rule. Once you're funded, LucidFlex has none, while LucidPro adds one at the funded stage. Tradervana compares your best day with your total net profit against the percentage in your rule set, warns you as you approach it, and shows the biggest single day you can still take without crossing it. That's an approximation of how Lucid measures it, so leave yourself a margin. Attach a funded rule set with no consistency percentage and the warning stays out of your way.

Every account and product, side by side

Lucid sells four products with different rules, and many traders hold more than one. Each account gets its own rule set, passes and breaches are marked automatically, and you can see them all on one screen or filter down to one.

Your real Lucid net, not just your payouts

Log evaluation fees, resets, data fees and any other costs against each account, log every payout as it lands, and Tradervana shows spent vs. taken home vs. net, with a breakdown by account. How the payout tracker works →

Tilt and inactivity alerts

A losing streak inside a session, or a slide toward your daily loss limit, triggers a tilt warning on your dashboard. Inactivity alerts (a banner plus an opt-in email) watch the idle-day rules you save, so you get a warning while there's still time to trade.

And more

The pass plan simulator maps your path to the target or the next payout. There's also a monthly AI debrief, and the same account works on the web and in the iOS and Android apps.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tradervana sync with Lucid Trading?

Yes, for Lucid accounts on Tradovate (CQG), on Pro. Connect the Tradovate login Lucid gave you, choose the Demo environment, and every account on it backfills and syncs automatically. Access is read-only. For Rithmic accounts, import a CSV instead. R-Trader exports are detected automatically.

Is there a LucidFlex journal setup?

Yes. Save LucidFlex's profit target, max loss limit, daily loss limit (if you chose one) and the 50% evaluation consistency as one rule set, and a funded rule set without consistency for after you pass. Then attach them to your accounts.

Can I track LucidPro, LucidDaily and LucidDirect accounts too?

Yes. Each product gets its own rule set with its own drawdown, consistency percentage and payout buffer, so mixed accounts are tracked independently on one dashboard.

How accurate is the drawdown number?

It's an estimate built from your closed trades against the limits in your rule set. It's useful for staying well clear of the limit. Near the edge, treat Lucid's dashboard as the final word.

Is the journal really free?

Yes. The free plan doesn't expire and doesn't need a card. Pro is optional and adds auto-sync and live rule tracking.
