MyFundedPerps Rules (2026 Guide)
By Tyler Branstiter · Updated October 15, 2026 · Last reviewed October 15, 2026 · 10 min read
MyFundedPerps (MFP) is a simulated perpetual-futures prop firm from the team behind MyFundedFutures. It has four plans, one evaluation step, and a rule set that is simpler than most futures firms: a static drawdown, a 3% daily loss limit on most plans, no consistency rule, and no minimum days. The details that catch traders out are the permanent drawdown lock after your first withdrawal, the funded news restriction, and the 7-day funded inactivity rule.
Rules on this page were checked against MyFundedPerps' official FAQ and docs on Oct 15, 2026. MFP is new and updates its terms often, so confirm your account's numbers in your dashboard before you trade. Sources are listed at the bottom.
MyFundedPerps rules at a glance
- One step. Every challenge is a single evaluation with one profit target.
- Static drawdown. The floor is your starting balance minus 3%, 5% or 6% (by plan). It never trails.
- 3% daily loss limit on Select, Prime and Signature, from start-of-day equity, resetting at midnight New York. Elite lets you choose No DLL.
- No consistency rule and no minimum trading days on any plan.
- No time limit in the evaluation, but you must trade at least once every 30 days (7 days on a funded account).
- Permanent lock after your first withdrawal on Select, Prime and Signature: the floor moves up to your starting balance and never moves again.
- $100 minimum payout, one request per New York day, and a $100,000 lifetime payout cap.
- Simulated trading. Fills are simulated against real market data; cash payouts are real.
What is MyFundedPerps?
MyFundedPerps is a simulated prop firm for perpetual futures: crypto, stocks, commodities, indices and forex, all traded as perpetuals. Orders are simulated against real order books, with market data from venues including Hyperliquid, Binance and Bybit. It runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install. It comes from the team behind MyFundedFutures, but it's a separate platform with a separate account. If you trade CME futures instead, see our MyFundedFutures rules guide.
MyFundedPerps plans and account sizes
| Plan | Sizes | Profit target | Static max drawdown | Daily loss limit | Consistency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Select | $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K | 9% | 3% | 3% | None |
| Prime | $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K | 12% | 5% | 3% | None |
| Signature | $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K | 10% | 6% | 3% | None |
| Elite (3% DLL) | $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K | 10% | 5% | 3% | None |
| Elite (No DLL) | $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K | 10% | 5% | None | None |
All percentages use starting balance, not current equity. Challenge prices change, so check MyFundedPerps' own challenge selector.
Select, Prime and Signature differ in how hard the target and the drawdown are: Select has the lowest target (9%) but the tightest drawdown (3%), while Signature gives the most room (6%) at a 10% target. Elite adds boosted leverage on a handful of markets and lets you buy without a daily loss limit.
$1K and $2.5K Select accounts are prizes from giveaways and promotions. They can't be bought, follow the Select rules, and pay out as store credit only.
MyFundedPerps evaluation rules
Profit target. The target and the loss rules use account equity, including open-position profit or loss. Hitting the target passes the account and closes your open positions.
Time limit and minimum days. There is no evaluation time limit and no minimum number of trading days. The only clock is the inactivity rule: an evaluation must record at least one executed trade every 30 consecutive calendar days, or it fails with the reason "30-Day Inactivity Rule".
Consistency. There is no consistency rule on any plan. If you're used to futures firms, see how the consistency rule works elsewhere for contrast.
MyFundedPerps drawdown: static, not trailing
The max loss limit (MLL) floor is your starting balance minus the plan's allowance. It does not follow intraday or end-of-day highs, so a profitable account has more and more room above the floor.
Worked example on a $100K account:
- Select: 3% drawdown, so the floor is $97,000.
- Prime: 5% drawdown, so the floor is $95,000.
- Signature: 6% drawdown, so the floor is $94,000.
Reaching the floor breaches the account. For the difference between a static and a trailing floor, read trailing drawdown, explained or try the trailing drawdown calculator.
The MLL lock after your first payout
On a Select, Prime or Signature funded account, your first withdrawal permanently moves the floor up to your starting balance. It never moves again, including after later withdrawals. After the lock, equity exactly at the floor is allowed and falling below it breaches.
Worked example: a $100K Signature account has a $94,000 floor. After the first withdrawal the floor becomes $100,000. If you withdraw all your profit, your balance sits at the floor with zero buffer. A withdrawal never restores the original cushion, so leave room above the floor or you can breach on the next small loss.
Elite has no lock. An Elite account's floor stays at starting balance minus 5% for the life of the account, including after withdrawals. For example, an Elite $25K account has a $1,250 MLL, so the floor is $23,750 and stays there.
The 3% daily loss limit
Select, Prime, Signature and 3% DLL Elite accounts have a daily loss limit worth 3% of starting balance, measured from your start-of-day equity, including open P&L. It resets at midnight New York time, which follows daylight saving (04:00 UTC in summer, 05:00 UTC in winter).
Example: on a $100K account that starts the day at $102,000 of equity, the daily floor is $99,000 ($3,000 below). The next day's reference is that day's closing equity. A daily reset doesn't reopen a failed account or reset the max loss limit. Elite No DLL accounts have no daily limit, only the max loss floor.
For how the two limits interact, see daily loss limit vs max loss limit.
MyFundedPerps funded account and payout rules
Funded accounts follow the same trading rules as the evaluation, with no profit target.
Profit split. The default is 80/20 in your favour. A 90/10 split is a paid upgrade you choose when buying the challenge.
Minimum payout and frequency. On Select, Prime and Signature the minimum is $100 of gross profit before the split ($80 to you on 80/20, $90 on 90/10), and you can submit one request per New York calendar day. There is no minimum trading-day requirement, consistency gate or payout count cap per account. Elite is on demand with no daily limit, and minimums of $50, $100, $250 and $500 on the $5K, $10K, $25K and $50K sizes. Elite has no Live stage.
Lifetime cap. Each user can receive at most $100,000 in lifetime payouts, combined across all accounts and plans and counted after the split. Buying new accounts or resetting doesn't reset it.
How you're paid. Cash is paid through Rise. You can instead take some or all of a payout as store credit, which gets a 10% boost (a $100 payout becomes $110 of credit) but can't be withdrawn as cash and expires 45 days after it's added. Payouts are reviewed manually.
Before you request. The account must be flat, with no resting orders, and you need at least the plan's minimum in available gross profit for the current cycle. Trading is locked while a request is pending. Payouts use realized balance, so close positions first. See also our guide to the payout buffer and days to payout.
Funded allocation. You can hold up to $300K of total funded allocation, with a maximum of $100K per model type (Select, Prime, Signature and Elite are separate).
Leverage and exposure caps
Elite accounts get boosted leverage on NAS100, SP500, US30, gold and oil. Each cap is a multiple of the account's starting balance and applies per account:
| Markets | Max leverage | $5K | $10K | $25K | $50K |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NAS100, SP500 | 40x | $200,000 | $400,000 | $1,000,000 | $2,000,000 |
| US30 | 25x | $125,000 | $250,000 | $625,000 | $1,250,000 |
| Gold (XAU) | 20x | $100,000 | $200,000 | $500,000 | $1,000,000 |
| Oil (CL, BRENTOIL) | 10x | $50,000 | $100,000 | $250,000 | $500,000 |
Elite exposure caps. Total exposure across every market is capped at 40x starting balance.
Select, Prime and Signature use the standard market caps, which depend on the product and account size. MyFundedPerps publishes them on its Market Exposure Caps page, so use that page for current numbers.
Fees: commissions and swaps
Commissions are charged on each fill, on entry and exit: 0.03% on crypto, 0.0025% on forex and 0.005% on stocks, commodities and indices, with Elite paying 0.001% on NAS100, SP500, gold and WTI oil. Open positions also pay an hourly swap fee. The hourly swap charged at midnight counts toward the day that just ended.
News trading rules
Evaluation: news trading is not restricted.
Funded accounts: trading is restricted around every high-impact (red folder) event.
| Time from the release | What you can do |
|---|---|
| More than 10 minutes before | Trade normally. An open position can be held through the release. |
| 10 to 2 minutes before | No new exposure: no new positions, no adding, no reversing. |
| 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after | No manual trades of any kind. Close or reduce before this window. |
Restricted events include FOMC, CPI, PPI, NFP, GDP, retail sales, employment reports, PCE and ECB, BOE and BOJ rate decisions. For equity perpetuals, company earnings are restricted too.
Profit from trades that break the restriction can be excluded during payout review.
Weekend holding
On 24/7 markets you can trade and hold through the weekend. On 23/5 markets (those that follow a venue session with a daily break) weekend trading and holding aren't allowed: open positions are automatically closed 15 minutes before the market closes on Friday, and you can trade again when it reopens. Each market's badge on the trade page shows which kind it is.
Inactivity: 30 days, then 7
Every account must record an executed trade within its inactivity window, measured in calendar days. Evaluations: 30 days. Funded accounts: 7 days, after which the funded account is closed. An executed trade restarts the window. The funded window is the one most people miss.
Prohibited strategies
MyFundedPerps evaluates the individual who bought and verified the account, and prohibits anything meant to manipulate the evaluation or exploit the platform. Its FAQ lists, among others:
- Cross hedging and group or coordinated hedging
- High-frequency trading (HFT) and latency arbitrage
- Price-feed or execution exploitation and quote stuffing
- Spoofing, layering, wash trading and self-trading
- Account cycling or sacrificial accounts
- Repeated maximum-risk "gambling" attempts and near risk-free exploitation
- Sharing an account or login, or hiding your location with a VPN or proxy
Violations can lead to removed trades, adjusted profits, denied payouts or a terminated account. Hedge mode isn't supported: you can't hold a long and a short in the same market on one account.
Bots and copy trading
Automation is allowed only through MyFundedPerps' documented API. Calling the internal endpoints the website uses is prohibited, and automation doesn't exempt a strategy from any rule. Built-in copy trading between your own accounts is supported, and cross-account coordination isn't.

Mistakes that fail MyFundedPerps accounts
- Oversizing on leverage against a 3% floor. Perps are leveraged, and a normal move can touch the daily floor quickly.
- Forgetting open P&L counts. Both floors use equity including open positions, not just closed trades.
- Withdrawing all your profit after the lock. On Select, Prime and Signature you end up exactly at the new floor with no buffer.
- Holding into a funded news window. No manual trades from 2 minutes before, and profit can be excluded.
- Letting a funded account go idle. Seven days without a trade closes it.
- Holding a 23/5 market into Friday. It's closed for you 15 minutes before the session ends.
Track your MyFundedPerps rules in Tradervana
Start from the MyFundedPerps entry in Tradervana's rule catalog (Select, Prime, Signature and Elite, at each size) and attach it to each account. With Pro, Tradervana syncs your MyFundedPerps trades automatically and shows:
- Room to your static max loss floor as you trade
- The floor lock after your first withdrawal. When you log a payout, Tradervana moves your floor up to your starting balance, and the payout form warns you first, showing how much room you'd have left
- Daily loss room against your daily limit
- Inactivity alerts before the 30-day (evaluation) or 7-day (funded) window runs out
- A payout tracker that weighs fees and resets against what you've been paid
- And more
Two things to know. Tradervana estimates daily loss from closed trades in your own trading day, while MyFundedPerps measures from start-of-day equity including open P&L and resets at midnight New York, so treat MFP's dashboard as the final word near a limit. And Tradervana doesn't track the funded news windows, so account for those yourself. To connect, follow how to sync MyFundedPerps.

FAQ
Is MyFundedPerps part of MyFundedFutures?
It comes from the team behind MyFundedFutures, but it is a separate platform: you create a separate account, and it trades simulated perpetual futures against real market data instead of CME futures.
Does MyFundedPerps have a consistency rule?
No. There is no consistency rule on Select, Prime, Signature or Elite, in the evaluation or on funded accounts, and no minimum trading days.
Is MyFundedPerps drawdown trailing or static?
Static. The max loss floor is your starting balance minus the plan's drawdown percentage and does not follow intraday or end-of-day highs. All percentages use starting balance, never current equity.
What happens to the drawdown after my first payout?
On Select, Prime and Signature funded accounts, your first withdrawal permanently locks the max loss floor to your starting balance, so the buffer below your balance shrinks. Elite has no such lock: its floor stays at starting balance minus 5% for the life of the account.
What is the MyFundedPerps daily loss limit and when does it reset?
It is 3% of starting balance, measured from start-of-day equity including open P&L, and resets at midnight America/New_York. Elite accounts can be bought with no daily loss limit.
How often can I get paid by MyFundedPerps, and what's the minimum?
On Select, Prime and Signature you can submit one payout request per New York calendar day, with a $100 gross minimum. Elite has no daily limit and a minimum of $50, $100, $250 or $500 on the $5K, $10K, $25K and $50K sizes.
Is there a payout cap?
Yes. Each user can receive at most $100,000 in lifetime payouts across all accounts and plans, counted after the profit split. Buying new accounts or resetting does not reset it.
Can you trade news on MyFundedPerps?
In evaluations, yes. On funded accounts, trading is restricted around high-impact events: no new exposure from 10 to 2 minutes before, and no manual trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after. Equity perpetuals also restrict company earnings.
Are bots and copy trading allowed?
Automation must use MyFundedPerps' documented API, and using it for HFT, latency arbitrage or other prohibited strategies is still prohibited. Built-in copy trading between your own accounts is supported.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?
On 24/7 markets, yes. On markets that follow venue sessions (23/5), weekend holding isn't allowed and open positions are automatically closed 15 minutes before Friday's close.
Is MyFundedPerps real trading?
No. Evaluation and funded trading is simulated on real market data. Approved cash payouts are real money.
