Getting the most out of Tradervana — Pro plan
Updated September 5, 2026 · 4 min read
This covers what Pro adds on top of the free plan — journaling, the dashboard, strategy playbooks, goals, and manual account tracking are all free and covered in the free plan guide. Everything below is Pro-only.
Automatic broker sync
Connect Tradovate or TopstepX once (Broker Sync in the sidebar) and every new trade flows in on its own — no repeated CSV exports. The first sync backfills your full history in the background; after that it's incremental, with a daily catch-up as a backstop, plus a manual Sync now whenever you want one immediately.
See how to sync Tradovate and how to sync TopstepX (Beta) for the full walkthroughs, including which environment to pick for a prop-firm account.
TopstepX support is currently Beta — it's been built against the ProjectX Gateway API but not yet verified at scale against a live account. If something looks off after connecting, check it against your broker statement and tell support what you find.
Multiple connections and accounts
One broker login syncs every account it can see — you don't add a separate connection per prop-firm account. Use the account filter at the top of the dashboard and Trades pages to switch between them. Only add a second connection for a genuinely different login; two connections sharing the same Tradovate login will repeatedly boot each other offline.
Rule-set templates and live tracking
Under Accounts → templates, build a rule set matching your firm's evaluation: loss limit, drawdown type (trailing vs. static), profit target, contract caps, and inactivity rules (days idle / minimum profit-day requirement). Attach it to an account and both the account page and the dashboard show live progress: distance to breach, remaining drawdown room, and how close you are to the profit target and any consistency rule — all recalculated as your synced trades come in.
Automatic pass and breach detection
With a template attached and a broker synced, Tradervana marks an account Passed or Breached on its own instead of you tracking it by hand. If an account disappears from your broker's account list entirely — reset, pulled by the firm — it's flagged on the Accounts page as "vanished" rather than silently dropping out of your history; your trades from it stay put, you just reclassify it (passed, breached, or reset).
Inactivity alerts
Most prop firms auto-close an account that goes idle too long, and some tie that to a minimum-profit-day count, not just a login. Tradervana watches both against your rule-set template and shows a dashboard banner — plus an opt-in email, on by default — before that happens, with enough runway to place a qualifying trade.
Tilt warnings
A dashboard banner flags two things as they happen: a losing streak within today's session, or an account creeping up on its daily loss limit. It looks at your last 400 closed trades regardless of any filter you have set, so it won't miss a streak just because you're viewing a single account or a narrow date range.
Payouts and account costs
On a funded account's detail page, log payouts you've received and the account's costs (evaluation fee, reset fees) to see actual net take-home — not just gross P&L — per account.
Strategy analytics
Pro adds a net-P&L breakdown per strategy on the Strategies page, on top of the free per-trade checklist — so you can see which playbook is actually making money, not just which one you follow most consistently.
The monthly debrief
Once a calendar month closes, Debrief (in the sidebar) generates a plain-English report: where your edge is, where it's leaking (overtrading fast setups, revenge-sizing after a loss, a specific hour that consistently costs you), performance by strategy and R-multiple, and any session-review notes you logged that month. There's an optional monthly email version — on by default, toggle it in Account.
Daily and weekly email recaps
Two more opt-in emails, both on by default: a daily recap after the close on days you traded, and a weekly recap after the trading week ends — each broken down per account if you have more than one. Turn either off in Account if it's noise for you.
The economic calendar overlay
A toggle on the dashboard overlays upcoming high/medium/low-impact economic releases, filterable by currency and impact level — useful for knowing why a session moved the way it did, or planning around a release before it happens. It's a shared feed refreshed automatically in the background, not something you have to sync yourself.
Branding-free share cards
Free share cards always carry full Tradervana branding. On Pro, the share dialog for any card (day, week, month, trade, goal, account) lets you pick Minimal (small watermark) or Clean (no branding at all) — useful if you're posting cards somewhere you'd rather they look fully your own.
